Our Mission

What is Transparency in Charity?

Every day when I get up in the morning I know how privileged I am to have been born in the UK, to have access to water, food, safety and an a roof over my head. I am lucky to have a world of opportunities and choice in what I do. I believe this is something everyone should have the right to but acknowledge that this is not the world we live in today. I would like to challenge the existing reality. In 2008 I decided to dedicate part of my holiday allocation to charity. I choose the charities through networking and deciding where I believe the most impact can be made. The charities therefore tend to be small, having been set up by people a friend or I know personally. The charities have been set up by people who see need around them and have committed themselves to help.
